Torquay

Local attractions and places to go

There are 22 miles of coastline to explore, which makes up the Southwest Coast path.  It’s cliffs, coves and beaches, together with a warm climate has made the English Riviera in Devon a popular destination since Victorian times.  The guest house is conveniently located to explore the many attractions of Torquay and further afield. Wander down to the Harbour, through the beautifully maintained gardens,  and stop at the many pubs, cafes, restaurants or visit one of the tourist attractions nearby. Take a ferry from Torquay to the fishing port of Brixham or drive to Kingswear and take the ferry over to beautiful Dartmouth. If you feel more energetic, ramble along the beautiful coastal path or inland up the River Dart, to the home of the famous author Agatha Christie.  For everyone, regardless of their age, there are many attractions and activities.
