Originally from Surrey we moved down to Torquay with our two children in April 2021 to start our new life and career running the Buckingham Lodge B&B.  You will be greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly, comfy place to stay. Sergio, who is a trained chef will be on hand to provide a delicious breakfast and help with any dietary requirements you may have.

Our guest house is a period property dating back to 1860 and is in a quieter area of Torquay along a treelined road and just a few minutes walk from Torre Abbey.  Abbey Park offers outside activities all year round where you can play adventure golf, green bowls, tennis.  There is also a 9 hole par three golf course just round the corner.  The seafront is a 10 minute walk, where you will find all the eating establishments, coffee shops and tea rooms.

Parking is available, but please note our driveway is on a slope and so may not be suitable for people with impaired mobility.  There is alternative free parking on the road opposite the property or on Avenue Road, which backs onto our property.
